OUR EVENTS

Each year UUCF has two major events:  Revival and General Assembly.

Revival is our regular gathering which draws people from around the world for a celebration of Free Christianity through vibrant and inclusive worship, ground-breaking lectures, diverse workshops appealing to mind, heart, body, and soul, and small group community. They are events not to miss.

People come from across the globe to the Revivals. Past Revivals have been held at First UU Church of New Orleans (1999), First Unitarian Church of St. Louis (2001), Universalist National Memorial Church, Washington, D.C. (2003), First Unitarian Church of Worcester, MA (2004), First Jefferson UU Church of Fort Worth, TX (2005), Fourth Universalist Society of New York City (2006), West Shore UU Church, Cleveland, OH (2007) and All Souls Unitarian Church, OK (2009).

Click here to find out about the upcoming 2012 Revival.

Periodically, our small groups will also facilitate regional revivals in their own areas. If your small group would like to explore conducting a regional revival, contact our Executive Director.

General Assembly (GA) - Each year the UUCF has a presence at the Unitarian Universalists Association of Congregations General Assembly (GA). In addition to business sessions (Plenary), the General Assembly program comprises over three hundred workshops, lectures, and worship opportunities over the five days of GA.

Plan now to join with the UUCF in Phoenix, June 20-24, 2012, for the Justice General Assembly of the UUA. Our Communion Service during GA will be led by the Rev. Melanie Morel-Ensminger of New Orleans, a past president of the UUCF, who has returned to her native city to help lead its renewal.. Our booth will be a place of rest and connections and resources and a way we introduce the power of our movement to others. For more go to www.uua.org/GA and stay tuned to our website for updates. This will be an event of witness and education and calls out for a good turnout of those who follow Jesus.

Events of Interest - We all promote other events that are of wide interest to our members and supporters. We especially like to help promote progressive Christian events being led by our members.
