Revival Experiences
We have just finished the UUCF Revival 2006. What a great community gathered from many states, as well as from Canada and the United Kingdom this year. What a great spirit.
Below you can find connections to some of the experiences people had during Revival 2006 in New York, Nov. 2-5. We will be posting more. If you have reflections to share, please send them to me at RevRonRobinson@aol.com

Early reflections from Ron Robinson:
I have just gotten back and haven’t even unpacked yet so will give more full report later. But the buzz kept me going for a few extra days in NYC–worship that moved and healed, the awesome building with the fantastic tile mural of Jesus washing the feet of the disciple that was placed over the alter in the sanctuary, the closing singing of revival hymn sing and word-saying about what moved people in the few days, the new friends made and energy soaring. Each revival is different and this one for me was the Revival of Big Ideas for our movement, and commitment toward them, small group bible study on the Lazarus passage that truly deepened my understanding of the power and wide range of that passage from John, sharing of spiritual journeys and struggles, the weeping from communion service and great homily and service by Jeffrey Gould of Britian, the soaring taize music of Chris Walton and the powerfully led musical singing by our musician in residence, Ken Nofziger of Eastern Mennonite University, Peter Boulatta’s inspiring seamless prayer and healing service, that look of wonder on one person’s face as they came up after a service and said, the old old story, “I didn’t know you could do that at a UU church.” I am forgetting so much and will add to it later.
As always we learned a lot, got great ideas and brainstorming for future Revivals which will be continuing and expect changes and additions, hope to spread them in mini-form around the country as we have already in Virginia and Ohio, and you will be hearing a lot more.
Revival 2007 will be in Cleveland at West Shore UU Church Nov. 1-4, 2007. Theme: UU Christianity Rocks!!
